Maumee Levels: ( taken from an email we received, thank you Bennet)

This is my interpretation.  The river changes and is inconsistent, so use these as a loose guide.

20,000 cfs+ - Washed out.  There are a few big rollers but they surge - there one minute, gone the next.  Strong current. River is over the bank and no eddies.  You'll work hard to get any ride.

14,000 cfs - Getting good surfing wave action river right and left and a number of wave holes.  The side-surfing hole (ledge drop) on river left is still washed out.  Strong current.  Eddies starting to appear, but you'll still work hard getting back upstream.

11,000 cfs - Ledge hole river left starting to appear. Good waves on top and river right.  Strong current and few eddies.

6,500 cfs - Best selection of waves and holes.

5,500 cfs - Get your boat and surf!!!

4,800 cfs - Still good surfing.  Middle wave great for side surfing.

2,500 - 3,500 cfs - Minimum.  One or two waves.  Very scrapy.

Have fun!
